Ojukheon House is located in Gangneung City, Gangwon Province. It was built around 1570 and is a representative historical site in Gangneung, known for being the former residence of the renowned scholar Yi I (1546-1584) of the Joseon Dynasty. It has been designated as National Treasure No. 165 of South Korea. Yi I was an important thinker, philosopher, and educator during the Joseon Dynasty, exerting a profound influence on the culture of the Korean Peninsula.
