Day 2  Cultural landmarks of Seoul: Historical relics hidden in the bustling modern metropolis.

After a comfortable night's rest at the hotel, let's set out with the sun and embark on a day tour of the essence of Seoul, with your professional and knowledgeable guide at your service throughout.

Unveil the magnificence of Gyeongbokgung Palace built in 1395, which was the royal palace of the last unified dynasty of the Korean Peninsula. Changdeokgung Palace is another royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, built in subsequent years after Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Engage in an enchanting Hanbok wearing experience, and feel the elegance and charm of the Korean people's centuries-old traditional attire.

After visiting the ancient royal palaces of Korea, we go to Namsangol Hanok Village. Here, the traditional Korean houses of various social classes from the Joseon era are showcased, making it the best place to experience Hanok culture in a quick and accurate way. It's not just a Hanok exhibition here, various interesting events are also held.

In the afternoon, lose yourself in the bustling streets and alleys of Insadong, a paradise for art and antiques collectors. Then head to iconic  Gwangjang Market to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of daily life and delicious food of Seoul.

Tips:

1. Among the five palaces in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace are the largest in scale, and have the most exquisite architectures, and the latter was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1997. The other three royal palaces have the same architectural style as them, but are smaller in scale.

2. If we arrive in Seoul early in the afternoon or evening, we can visit Insadong or Gukjang Market first.

3. The five palaces and Insadong, Gukjang Market are all located in the central area of Seoul, not far from each other.

Day 3  Cultural Highlights of Suwon and Yongin.

Today, continue your journey to Suwon and Yongin, delving deeper into the rich history and culture of Korea.

Yongin Folk Village has over 240 traditional buildings, where time stands still and the human landscape and regional atmosphere of the Korean Peninsula over 500 years ago are recreated.

Suwon Hwaseong is an ancient fortress with an area of 130 hectares, its unique building layout pattern even cant find in China and Japan, with both military defense and commercial functions, and is considered a model of Eastern fortress. It was designated as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1997.

Suwon City and Yongin City are not far from Seoul, approximately 50 kilometers away, which is equivalent to the suburbs of Seoul, so you don't have to worry about being in a hurry.

Day 4  Seoul to Gyeongju

As we journey from Seoul to Gyeongju, let's embrace a new day of enchanting discoveries. Over the next two days, we will visit two more of Korea's World Cultural Heritage sites, Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, as well as the tombs of the Korean kings.

By hopping onto the sleek KTX, Korea's high-speed train service, you'll quickly glide into the ancient city of Gyeongju.

The city's regal past awaits at Daereungwon Tombs, where you'll unravel Korea's royal history.

Ascend to the celestial heights of Cheomseungdae Observatory, constructed during the reign of Queen Seondeok (632–647) and one of the landmarks of Gyeongju.

Bathe in the tranquil beauty of Wolji Pond, a large walled pond with enchanting pavilions and an interesting history.

The attractions we are going to today are very close to each other, and they can be easily reached on foot.

Day 5  Gyeongju to Busan, One Highlight to Another.

This morning, we are still in Gyeongju, where we will visit the temples of Bulgwangsa and Seokguram to experience the charm of these thousand-year-old Buddhist sites. In the afternoon, we will head to Busan to visit another famous temple with a completely different environment from Bulgwangsa, enjoy the sea breeze, and relax.

The world-famous Bulguksa Temple, built with the highest architectural technology and artistry of its time, is renowned for its magnificent architecture and serene spirituality.

The statue enshrined within the Seokguram Grotto is a sculpture of Sakyamuni Buddha created using the highest craftsmanship of Buddhist art from the Silla period of the 8th century. Carved from granite, the statue is a testament to the mysterious charm and tranquil mountains that harbour exceptional Buddhist art.

Head to Busan and visit the exquisite Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a unique seaside temple that perfectly blends spiritual purity with the beauty of nature.

After a day of exploring historical sites, indulge in the vibrant Haeundae Beach, which is a top destination for sunbathing, water sports, and relaxation.

I think that few people don't love the sea. Whether alone or with a group of good friends, whether married for many years or a couple, taking a walk on the beach, feeling the sea breeze, listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore, and watching the sunrise or sunset, it must be a romantic journey.

Day 6  Busan Colorful Life Discovery

This day offers you a unique insight into Busan's culture, from its charming art village and buzzing markets to the stunning citscapes from an aerial vantage point.

Start your day at colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, often known as Machu Picchu of Busan, for its splendid array of art-infused hillside houses.

Dive into the lively atmosphere of Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea's largest seafood market, and the bustling Gukje Market to discover Busan's pulsating heart of local life. A sumptuous feast of the freshest seafood is certainly not to be missed.
