Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse

The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is located by Hakodate Port and was built at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. It was originally used as a trade warehouse. These buildings feature a typical European red brick style, preserving the architectural characteristics of that time and bearing witness to Hakodate's prosperous history as an important port city. Today, after restoration and renovation, it has become a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating shopping, dining, culture and sightseeing.

Inside the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, visitors can find a wide variety of shops, ranging from fashionable clothing to exquisite handicrafts. The restaurants and cafes here offer a rich and diverse selection of food, including authentic Hokkaido seafood dishes as well as delicious cuisine from around the world.
