Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

Arashiyama Mountain is a famous scenic area in Kyoto, known as "the number one scenic spot in Kyoto". The famous Katsura River meanders at the foot of the mountain. There are many scenic spots and historical sites hidden here, and Tenryuji Temple is one of them. The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is located to the north of Tenryuji Temple. One can visit Tenryuji Temple by walking through the bamboo grove. Arashiyama Mountain is as green as jade, and the bamboo grove is serene and poetic.
