Odori Park

Odori Park is located in the heart of Sapporo City. It is a long and narrow green belt about 1.5 kilometers long and 100 meters wide, covering an area of approximately 7.8 hectares. It is an open park for citizens to relax and have fun.

Odori Park is the venue for various cultural exchanges and festivals, such as the Yosakoi Soran Festival in early summer, the open-air beer garden festival in summer, and the Sapporo Snow Festival in winter. The Sapporo Snow Festival, which began in 1950, is held in early February every year. It is one of the world's four major snow festivals, along with the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, the Quebec Winter Carnival in Canada, and the Oslo Ski Festival in Norway.

There are many famous sculptures standing on both sides of the park. The roasted corn and potatoes sold near the park are also must-try delicacies.
