Shikisai No Oka

The Shikisai No Oka, also called “four seasons color hill”, in Biei Town is a top choice for shooting various Japanese dramas and commercials. This 15-hectare garden is home to about 30 types of flowers. On the undulating hills, rows of neatly arranged tulips, lupines, lavender, sage, and dahlias, among others, carpet the entire field from April to October.

In addition to enjoying the flowers, visitors can also take a hot air balloon ride to admire the hill scenery or hop on a tractor bus to enjoy the rural views in the cool summer breeze.
