Hiroshima Castle

Hiroshima Castle is one of the many famous castles in Japan. It was built in 1599 and has a history of over 400 years. Unfortunately, the atomic bomb explosion in 1945 destroyed the castle, but it was rebuilt in 1958 in its original style.

Inside the castle, there is a museum themed on the development of Hiroshima and the culture of samurai families, displaying historical materials from ancient times to the Meiji era, as well as large-scale models of samurai and merchants.

It is also a well-known cherry blossom viewing spot, attracting many tourists every spring. The castle is only a few hundred meters away from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and is very suitable for visiting together.
