Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe

The Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe is a marine park with a Nordic castle style. The centerpiece of the park is the striking red brick NIXE castle, which was built to imitate the Jelske Castle and stands out as its most distinctive feature. Visitors can easily imagine themselves walking through a quaint village in countries like Denmark, Sweden, or Norway.

The interior mainly showcases marine life from the northern regions, featuring over 400 species and more than 10,000 creatures. The Crystal Tower, an 8-meter-high tank, mainly exhibits Napoleon fish. Strolling through the underwater tunnel allows you to gaze at various fish swimming around, as if taking a walk on the ocean floor. Additionally, there are animal shows such as penguin walks, dolphin shows, and sea lion shows.
