Togetsukyo Bridge

The Togetsukyo Bridge, stretching 155 meters in length, is located beneath Arashiyama Mountain and is a famous scenic spot in Kyoto. It offers a wonderful vantage point to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the western hills. The elegant bridge structure embodies the essence of traditional Japanese aesthetics.

At both ends of the Togetsukyo Bridge, there are numerous souvenir shops. Rickshaws shuttle through the streets, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of old Japan. This bridge is on the way to Tenryuji Temple and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Dining at the restaurants at either end of the bridge while enjoying the beautiful views is a very good choice.
