Miyajima Island

is the most famous one.

In the center of the island stands Mount Misen, which is 535 meters high. The mountain is covered with thick forests and is home to many wild deer and monkeys. You can take a cable car to the top of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful maple forest in the Red Leaf Valley from the cable car.

Miyajima Island boasts beautiful natural scenery. In the Momijidani Park, you can admire the fiery red leaves in autumn; in the Omoto Park, the cherry blossoms in spring make you feel the boundless vitality of the season; in the Tsutsumigaura Natural Park, the long sandy beach lets you breathe in the summer air; and by climbing the steps of Hiramatsu Park, you can enjoy the graceful curves of the Sea Seto-naikai. Along the way, you can also visit more than ten scenic spots such as Daisoin Temple, and the Folklore Museum, etc.
