Atomic Bomb Dome

The Atomic Bomb Dome was originally the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall, which was completed and put into use in 1915. It was a very exotic building designed by a Czech architect, with a total area of 1,023 square meters and a height of 25 meters at its highest point. Especially its new Baroque-style elliptical roof, which was very beautiful in shape.

This is the only remaining site after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. This half-destroyed building, facing the Peace Memorial Park across the river, shows the cruelty of war to the world.
