Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is located in the center of Osaka within Osaka Castle Park. As one of the city's famous historical sites, it is highly favored by people. The current Osaka Castle was rebuilt on the site of the original Osaka Castle from 1620 to 1629. The main building within the castle is called the Donjon Pavilion, which is generally regarded as the symbol of Japanese castles.

Osaka Castle Park is vast, covering approximately 1.07 million square meters, and is surrounded by lush greenery. From January to March, around 1,250 plum trees blossom in the plum garden. Then, from late March to April, about 4,000 cherry trees burst into bloom, making it one of the few flower-viewing spots in Japan. During the flower season each year, it attracts a large number of tourists.
